In this tutorial I will show you the difference between: Sections, Categories and Articles. In other words, how to maintain your content.
In Joomla! in order to create a content, you need to put your content inside an article. Almost all pages are generated or displayed using an article. However, before you create an article you will have to create a Section and a Category for that article. You cannot have an article without first creating a Category for that article, and in order to create a Category, you will need a Section for that. Let me write down the steps for you:
1. Create a Section or a number of sections depending on what you need.
2. Create a Category.
3. Create an Article.
