Never in my life have I thought I would ever be making a Korean website. But here it is!
Joy Study Abroad website is for a startup company in Tokyo that helps prepare students in Japan to go the United States. Since most of the students are highschool and below, the website would mainly be accessed by their parents. And the owners, Miyoung and Hyunmi, wanted the website to be as simple as possible, so that parents who are not everyday users of the internet would be able to use it.
The challenge in this project was mainly language. Google Translate was opened in one tab 80% of the time during the coding and integration process. It was a totally new experience working on a website that I couldn't read. And now, next time somebody wants a website in Korean, I can tell the person that I have an experience in working on a Korean website. So, that's one of the best parts about this project!
